Q: What size cake do I need?
A: We can make a cake for as few as 10 people or as many as you need! As a guide, a normal 8-inch / 20cm round cake would serve 20 people. The largest individual size we do is 14 inch / 36cm, but of course the final cake can have multiple tiers. Cakes (and tiers) are normally 4-inch / 10cm high, but can be higher if required.
Q: What shape cakes can I order?
A: Cakes can be round, square, or custom shapes. In fact we can do any shape, including models of objects -- from an aeroplane to a zebra!
Q: What kind of decorations can you do?
A: Cakes can be decorated with colours, patterns or pictures, and we can add figures, models, toppers and sculptures as required. Just ask!
Q: What flavours can I have?
A: The standard flavours are vanilla (Victoria) with buttercream and jam, chocolate, salted caramel, and lemon. But we can do any flavour you like, both in the cake itself and the filling.
Q: I have an allergy
If you have a special requirement due to an allergy or food intolerance to nuts, wheat, dairy or gluten, for example, just let us know. As all our goods are baked to order we can accommodate all allergies and food intolerances.
Since our bakehouse does use dairy, nuts and other allergens, we can't guarantee that there are no traces of them, unfortunately, but we will do our best to meet your requirements.
Q: What about Coronavirus?
We will of course observe all appropriate precautions during the current crisis. Boxes will be delivered "contact free", and full hygiene rules are followed in the bake house. We have a 5-star local authority hygiene rating.
